Artist and designer Lily Langham has turned a windy, hilly paddock into a deeply personal garden full of surprises.

LILY Langham takes her gardening personally. Her garden is so deeply entwined with her own way of being that there is no separating it from other aspects of her life. She talks about being connected to it “body and soul”. “It’s just who I am,” she says.

But her garden is also how many of us would like our gardens to be. It has a perfect balance of wildness and whimsy. While Langham’s touch is everywhere, you can also sense the hand of nature.
