‘FIRSTLY, ignore google maps,” reads the text from artist Luke Sciberras. “When you get to Bathurst, drive straight through! Don’t turn ...”

Stopping for lunch, however, requires us to turn and despite the straightforward directions we initially head out on the wrong road.

“Then, when the houses end, turn right and you’re off into the blue yonder toward Hill End!”
