For interior designer Megan Morton, the intense pleasures of home illuminate all of life's magic moments.

PRIMORDIAL rainforest. Organic black garlic. Re-reading the formative books of my life. Davidson plum nectar. Gameshow-buzzer alarm clocks and analogue everything. Handknitted fingerless gloves for tractor-driving and texting. Travel. Cerulean blue. Regen. Hat walls. GoPro-wearing cows. Watching kids ride their horses bareback to the general store after school. Hermetica.
Right now, these are a few of my most cherished pleasures. As time goes on, they get simpler, yet richer, these pleasures. Though they might seem disparate, all the pleasures on today’s list and the one I might compile in a year’s time, in a decade’s time, have one thing in common. All of them originate somehow from my home – even the pleasure of travel would be nowhere near as cup-filling without the sanctuary of home.
